Buffalo River Meeting Dates
Below are the dates for the Buffalo River Meetings, from these meetings will come the future riding rules and regulations for horses and pack stock...all horse trails and where you can ride on the Buffalo National River. The Buffalo National River will have a new management plan in five years AND THINGS WILL CHANGE!!! Anyone in the Springdale area that is on this email...please get the word out to other riders, a lot of hikers from the Ozark Society will show up at this meeting and fill out a lot of forms. You need to show up and fill out a form telling what you need as a rider on the river. Camps, Trails, Trail Heads, camping while packing out or anything else you can think of, the hikers have thousands of forms already into the parkservice...equestrians have had little response. Show up and fill out a form.
I will be attending the Jasper and Harrison Meetings, and possibly the Springdale, let our voices be heard or we could see our trails taken by someone else. Thank you so much
Remember: The world is run by those who show up!!!!
If you can not attend, email me and I will send you a form to fill out and mail to the parkservice. Or you can go to the website below and fill out a form. If you do nothing, you could pull up at your favorite place and find "Horses not allowed!!" You have no one but yourself to blame.
Subject: Important Meetings about Buffalo National River Plans - Please cross-post
