<p style="text-align: left;">Women working in the horse industry are gathering together November 3-4 for two days of seminars, panels, networking and doing business.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Hosted by the Women's Horse Industry Association, the 2009 Conference will be held in Louisville, Kentucky at the Crown Plaza Hotel. The event is open to members and non-members.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The WHIA was formed only two and a half months ago and now has more than 500 members in the U.S., Canada and Europe. "We're a huge networking group on a mission to help each other become even more successful in our horse businesses. Our conference is the first time women working in the horse industry will have a chance to come together to learn information, do business with one another and make lifelong friends," states Executive Director, Catherine Masters.</p>

<p>Crittenden Co. Horse Club is a newly established club beginning in April of 2009.&nbsp; This was such an eye opener for the club members.&nbsp; Right now we have a total of 22 members.&nbsp; The girls that were on the tour had qualified for State 4-H O-Rama in Fayetteville.</p>

ACVS </strong>perform surgery, were given a tour of <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">KESMARC</strong> rehab center by the owner, visited the <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Secretariat Center</strong>, met with Preakness winner <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Rachel Alexandra&rsquo;s</strong> former trainer Hal Wiggins and were given a tour of historic Calumet Farm by manager <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Bill Witman</strong>.</span></p>
