Sky High Angels
The Sky High Angels Rodeo Drill team was founded in March 2005. The Sky High Arena on Governor's Hill in Huntsville is where we call home.
We are a group of women- some mothers, some sisters, but all cowgirls! Each and every team member loves the sport of rodeo and the art of horsemanship. The Sky High Angels consist of our director, Gloria Roles, 12 main riders and 3 alternate riders. We gather weekly in the spring, summer and fall to perfect our routine and showmanship.
We have grown so much over the past 2 years! In 2005 we performed at two rodeos. In 2006 we had the opportunity to perform at 10 rodeo events. We have performed at Ranch rodeos, IPRA rodeos and the Ford Series Finals in Claremore, Oklahoma! For the past 2 years we have been invited to perform at the Tom Mix Wild West Days in Dewey, Oklahoma.
Our heart as a drill team is to support our country, our troops and our community. We strive to add extra flare to the sport of rodeo and draw new interest to the oldest and best past-time in AMERICA!
