fiddle.jpgThe Fayetteville Fiddle Choir, founded in 2003 by Mary Haley, has been performing Irish and Traditional Fiddle for the past two years. Performing throughout the NW region, the choir consists of Suzuki Violin students, ranging in age from 5 to 16, who have advanced in the Classical style, but have added traditional fiddle to their many talents. Rehearsing once a month for 3 hours, they polish fiddle songs and have mastered 30-45 minutes of music for their performances.

Some of these performances have been at the Govenor's Conference on Tourism, Springfest, Ole' Applegate, Westfest, among others. They are happily returning to the Horse Show this year after having missed 2004. The Fayetteville Fiddle Choir has been invited to the National Conference on Literacy, to be held at the State Capital in November, 2005.
