SBP seeks devoted companion

Posted on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 04:35PM by Registered CommenterLaurie Harris | CommentsPost a Comment

Single Black Pony seeks devoted companion who shares her dream of winning! 6 YO Pony, beautiful, regal, black Welsh/QH X mare, about 13 hh, current coggins/shots/de-wormed. She is quiet for grooming, farrier, baths, clipping, tying, trailering and leads exceptionally. Small, inexperienced children can ride her on a lunge line and she stays quiet and won't come out of walk (trained to do this). She has been showing hunter/jumper for the past year ridden by her trainer (a petite college student) and an 8 yr. old girl. She LOVES to jump and is eager in the show ring and will try anything asked of her. She is too fast  (wants to win and get ahead of big horses) and may be more suitable to barrel racing or speed competitions. She LOVES to compete and nothing intimidates her.

Team Roping Heel Horse

Posted on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:21AM by Registered CommenterLaurie Harris | CommentsPost a Comment

AQHA registered, Two Eyed Jack top and bottom, guaranteed sound, 10 year old gelding. He is an amazing Team Roping-heel horse. He would be great for a beginner roper, but will win money with an experienced roper. He has run with the Old Fort Days Dandies, done parades, trail rides, and basically everything else. He is the horse we jump on bareback, with a halter, to round up stray cattle. He will work off your leg, and spin a hole in the ground. I have also taken dressage lessons on him. He is an all around solid, everything horse.

I will be going to college this fall and am leasing out my 5-Gaited American Saddlebred. He is 16.3 hands tall and very eye catching in the show ring. I have owned Bourbon for six years and fully trained him myself. He is nine years old and a great horse to ride. Very easy mannered great on the trail or in the show ring. I show him avidly at ANWARC and most of you know him as Another Treat WRF (Normally number 262).

1480033-1638508-thumbnail.jpgPuppy-dog gentle and truly a gentle giant!   We've owned Dakota since December, 2006 and he has been a wonderful addition to our home; however, he was going to be my husband's horse who just never spent any time with him.   I've ridden Dakota several times this Spring and he's doing great.
