2 Grade Horses: Black TWH and Palomino QH
I am selling 2 of my horses. I hate to sell them but stuff happens and I really need to reduce the herd so what I'd like to do is sell or trade these 2 for one that is more fitting my size and more fitting of my use level. Both of these horses are sound and healthy. Both are current on all vaccines including West Nile & Rabies. They are on a regular worming program and farrier work. Both are puppy dog gentle *literally*. They both clip, bathe, lead, load etc.
Individual information:
One is a solid black 1/2 Tenn. Walker 1/2 unknown (possibly haflinger?). He is gaited. Jack is short backed and built like a Sherman tank! Jack will win your heart in no time with his "little boy" characteristics. He loves to play. He is a joy to bathe and clip. He is a ground safe horse for children and the folks that just don't watch themselves around horses. He will need a teen & up rider due to his size and him being a h! orse. I mean really, we have to use common sense. He is 15years old, stands 15 hands and weighs around 1200 lbs. He will ride either English or Western tack. And he will go anywhere. He is safe for any level rider, but I would not put a small child on him alone because of his size and power as he probably wouldn't mind them lol. He would likely take them straight back to the house.
The second is a golden palomino QH mare (grade). She has a beautiful shaped head with blaze, flax mane and tail and 3 stockings. She is xtra gentle for anyone. She is 14hands tall and will weigh around 850 or so. She is finely built in her body. She is 14 years old and is perfect for anyone from very young to old. She likes to go slow and easy. She is highly trained. Responds to the lightest rein on the neck, voice command as well as leg pressure. She will ride anywhere you want her to go. She does like to ride with a companion. She rides double, Western, bareback, with or w/o bit, with or w/o bridle. She is just an all round excellent beginner / family horse. Her one bad point would be she fights about loading into a 2 horse trailer, but will load easily into any other.
If interested in these horses please contact me by phone or email. I will sell as a pair or would separate. Home phone is 479-576-4602 or email straws1232003@ yahoo.com
Please feel free to forward this information to anyone you know that would give them a wonderful home.

Both of these horses have been placed in permanent homes. Thanks for inquiries about them. Goldie (the palomino mare) is just up the road from us & is currently bred to our stallion for a 2009 foal, can't wait to see that mix! Jack has been rehomed in a children's camp... right up his alley!
