Saddlebred for Lease

Posted on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 03:11PM by Registered CommenterLaurie Harris | CommentsPost a Comment

I will be going to college this fall and am leasing out my 5-Gaited American Saddlebred. He is 16.3 hands tall and very eye catching in the show ring. I have owned Bourbon for six years and fully trained him myself. He is nine years old and a great horse to ride. Very easy mannered great on the trail or in the show ring. I show him avidly at ANWARC and most of you know him as Another Treat WRF (Normally number 262). He does not take an experienced rider at all but I would like someone with some experience in order for him to keep up his fullest potential. I currently show him saddle seat and western. If you are unexperienced in either discipline that's no problem at all, I can help you at no cost. I will work with your experience/ inexperience. If you decide to lease him, I am offering to teach you in order to acquaint yourself with him (for the benefit of him and the rider) and learn the best ways to ride him. He is a great horse, easy to ride and grabs attention in the show ring.

I am including the use of all of my show equipment, including a very nice show saddle and bridle, training equipment (along with how to use it all) and the use of my nice two horse bumper pull horse trailer with dressing room. I also have all of my show clothes that if you are about my size you're welcome to wear.

I would prefer to keep him at the barn he is currently in (Sterling Equestrian Center in Bentonville) as all of the staff there is knowledgeable about him personally but other arrangements can be made. This is also a full boarding facility.

More information and pictures can be seen at http://fayar.craigslist.org/grd/781246842.html  and I can be reached at 513 289 6095.
