I am excited to inform you that Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Inc. (DEFHR) is currently accepting applications for interns for our new Residential Internship Program. The program will be available to any and all students, over the age of 18, who are willing and ready to experience what it is like to manage and operate a professional, state-of-the-art equine rescue and rehabilitation farm. The internship is available both nationally and internationally, with students living on-site and receiving a weekly stipend of $75.

Please contact us if you would like to receive our flyer. On the flyer, students can find a brief overview of what their responsibilities will be, along with a list of the internship sessions that we have available through 2009. The flyer also contains our contact information so that they can find out more about the program, should they be interested.

If you would like actual hard copies of the flyers, please feel free to email me and I will be glad to send them to you. If you would like a copy of our “Residential Internship Information and Application” packet, which contains a more detailed description of the program, an FAQ section, and the program’s application, please also let me know.

One of DEFHR’s main goals is to increase the understanding and awareness of equine abuse and neglect, not only in the United States , but all around the world. By educating your students and having a small part in their lives, we hope to achieve that goal.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
