InSpirit Riding Jeans are the next generation of Smooth Stride jeans. We didn't just sew a patch on jeans and call them riding jeans. Smooth Stride founder, Marianne Morrison, created the pants for herself by using her background in triathlons and a desire to wear a practical pair of jeans on a trail ride. Smooth Stride riding wear was designed by combing the features of English breeches, running and cycling shorts and a boot cut pair of stretch jeans. This combination created the original Parade Pants. We have significantly upgraded the pattern, cut, material and options and decided they were so much better, they required a new name. We are really proud to now offer the InSpirit Riding Jean. The name will reflect your attitude as you enjoy your next long ride.

Upgraded Smooth Stride's new comfort fit design: a scooped cut borrowed from bike shorts. The pants are now cut higher in the back and slightly lower in the front. This allows you to bend and sit without exposing too much! This new design keeps the pants securely in place as you bend over, dismount or when seated in the saddle.
New micro-ribbed, cotton lycra stretch denim, available in black with a black full seat or knee patch. This fabric is so flexible you won't believe it is denim, but it won't bag after a few minutes because it contains more lycra than standard stretch denim. The micro-ribbed finish provides a slimming, flattering appearance, and is also a perfect addition for the show ring. This fabric is light-weight and breathable for the hot summer months, but durable enough to hold-up year-round.
Do you want to carry a few items, but don't need the bulk of a five pocket jean? We added a runner's pocket. A small, mesh pocket is sewn into the front left waistband. This will be perfect for Chapstick, cell phone, pocket knife, but it won't create bulky material folds like traditional jean pockets.

Regular 32 inch inseam or a 38 inch extra length inseam. The extra length will not have a bottom hem so you can make it exactly the right length to fit any long-legged ladies!
